Stevie Wonder, “Superstition” (1972)

Pink Floyd, “Another Brick in the Wall (Part 2)” (1979)

Bob Marley & the Wailers, “Could You Be Loved” (1978)

Pink Floyd:

I thought that this was a weird song. I was confused by the part where there were little kids singing or them. I thought that there were kids but in another way, I thought it was them because they have weird voices. Also I thought that it was not really necessary to have those parts at the end with the honk and people talking. I was really surprise that they were white and that they were well know with their music. I thought that they were going to be black because they kind of sound like that. Then when it started, it was something weird too. I thought that this song was not like the others ones I have heard.

Bob Marley and the Wailers:

I thought that this was a good song. I have heard and seen pictures of Bob Marley. I never knew that there was a band he was before he went solo. I really like the fact that this song has the rhythm of Jamaican beat like some of now day’s artist Damian Marley. He looks like Bob Marley but I don’t know if they are brothers or not. I would definitely hear this song again because it has a good beat and a cool background.

Stevie Wonder:

I have heard this song before in the radio, in the keyboard, and I think in “That’s So Raven”. I thought that this song has a good rhythm of the guitar and the voice was good. I never knew that it was a black person but there was something in his voice that kind of sounded like a black person. I wonder if he used some piano because I really like the background beat and rhyme it has. I like this song and I think that this is the only song that I have heard from him.

I agree with you the first song you chose was knid of weird to me because it was just liked layed back but the rythm i think made this song and it was weird how the man voice changed into kids.

I like your next song because it kept you awake and make people get up because of the rythm and i like because it sounds like a type of blues.

This song is a type of song you would listen to the carribean or just relaxing on the beach. When i liste to this song i think about the cool palm trees in the island and the mist. This song I liked because it was just what they were feeling.

Wow, good job (I still can't do those)

As for you reactions I like how you seemed very honest about your thoughts of the song and then went into detail.

You also payed special attention to the beat and nature of the music, this essential to any music related reaction.

Good work.
